About US - Caomhie Mckenna Yellow-Brick-Road Interior Design Devon

The Magician – Caoimhe Mckenna: BA Hons Design

Creative Director

Since achieving a first class honours degree in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design in my native city, Dublin, I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to express my true love of design with over twenty years international design experience in domestic & commercial interior architecture and furniture design. My career was launched when I moved to London, working at the world renowned Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. This was followed by a move into retail design with Mulberry, where I honed not only my design skills but also an eclectic taste in fashion!

I have since worked for many large, award winning design agencies and architectural practices in Brisbane, where I was Project Interior Designer for Ephraim Island an award winning mixed use development on the Queensland, Gold Coast; Perth, where I was senior Interior Designer for the global architectural studio, Woods Baggott and Dublin, as Senior Interior Designer for the multi award winning architectural and design practice Douglas Wallace. I have worked alongside many high end clients and global brands and have been involved in numerous exciting design and fitout projects from concept through to completion. I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to gain a wide knowledge base for planning, scheduling and resourcing. My natural flair and eye for detail lend a stylish and vibrant touch to my creations, and I enjoys working alongside clients, pushing the boundaries that help shape their unique interior.

The Ruler – Robert Nichols: Bsc Hons Estate Management

Commercial Director & Project Management

Growing up in rural Oxfordshire, I spent many years exploring the surrounding fields, meadows and brooks, it was here I developed a deep appreciation and understanding of nature and the surrounding environment. I furthered this passion by earning a Bsc in Land Management Rural Practice. During this time I supplemented my studies by working as a Carpenter & Joiner for my families construction company working on many estates within the local area.

I have since gained over thirty years in the construction industry including gaining a Civil Engineering qualification whilst successfully progressing through the industry to Senior Project Management level. I have worked for many of the major top tier contractors in the UK and Ireland, and over the years I have gained experience in all disciplines of the construction industry from high end domestic & commercial build projects through to heavy civil engineering works including road & rail, for multi million pound infrastructure projects. I even managed to picking up a few ICE Awards for Civil Engineering along the way.

I have gained an in-depth knowledge of all construction processes and management, from tender stage through to completion. I aim to work along side clients, guiding them around the many pit falls that any demanding project can bring while providing cost effective solutions to the completed design and build.
